Workout Wednesday #9

So today is day 3 of Hell Month and I really don’t think I could be any more excited to eat solid food. I’m fasting through most of the day but I will be feasting tonight. Monday and Tuesday I consumed no food, just cold press green juice. It was kinda rough. Not really as bad as I excepted it to be though to be honest. By the end of the day yesterday though I was for sure missing food.

Today I plan to break my fast with a giant steak, potatoes, and mixed veggies. Now that I have a scale I will be sure to be right in my calorie count. I’m hoping that I will have a little bit of room to squeeze in a little sweets too but we will see.

Workout today was pretty good. I didn’t sleep super good last night so waking up this morning to work out was a little more rough than usual. I did good on my lifts though for the most part and even added some weight to my crunches which is cool. So we will see how I feel next Wednesday energy wise. With drinking nothing but juice for two days straight it may deplete my energy levels too much to workout effectively but it could have been just the lack of good sleep too so we will see.

As part of my Hell Month challenge I am jogging 6 miles a week as well. Got my two miles in on Monday and another two today. So another two miles Friday and I will be good to go! Drinking 32 ounces of water every day is actually a little more challenging than I expected. It could be because the first two days all I did was drink juice so it might be better today. But so far, I am not nearly thirsty enough and have to force down like 10 ounces before bed to meet the 32 total. Which is silly I know because technically, I should be drinking even more than that.

Everything else is going good. I feel good about the challenge so far too. I feel like it will accomplish exactly what I intended it to. I’m sure by the end of this month I will be close to 175 and probably just a decent amount in body fat percentage. Just thinking about being at like 12 or 13 percent body fat just makes me super excited!

If you are doing the challenge with me, keep grinding! The tough part of the week is over! That’s 1 down and only 3 more to go!
